Sando Yakubovich: works from the family collection

Sando. Sando. We called him Sando Botticelli for talent. Once Sando managed to escape by jumping out of the train, which was carrying him and his entire Romanian family, to the extermination camp. “Jump, son,” his father told him, and Sando never saw his parents again. After this moment everything is vague. He hid for a long time in the forest, alone. We did not ask. We miss Sando to this day, although for four years he has not been here. Sando's works, which our Museum now shows, are kept in his family. And it’s good that way.
