This is the history of the creation of this artwork: in one of the nursing homes where Galitsky works, the administration decided to open an exhibition of various creative works dedicated to the corona virus, in order to thus raise the morale of the residents living. Residents who attend Galitsky's circle did not respond to the call of the administration, because the topic of the exhibition is not very funny and, frankly, dubious. Only Galitsky responded, and this is how the work "Galitsky's Self-Portrait in wood" happened.
